About PowerSeal

PowerSeal has existed for 35 years and has been the market leader in NiKaSilling cylinders for many years. Over the years, PowerSeal has developed a high-tech coating that we apply to the cylinders of two and four-wheelers, jet skis, snowmobiles, etc. PowerSeal has been developing this layer for 35 years so that we can continue to serve customer demand in a world that never stands still.

It is no coincidence that our housestyle consists of the colors blue and green. These two colors represent the steel or aluminum (blue) of the cylinder, and the green of our NiKaSil® process. The main component Nickel is central to this process.

Through constant further development and the latest technologies, PowerSeal® coating has proven to be of very high quality and has built up a good reputation in both the motorcycle and car world.

The hard coating of PowerSeal® is composed of nickel and silicon carbide and provides a wear-resistant surface, which significantly extends the life of the cylinder. Because we carry out our production under climate control, we always deliver a perfect end product with the correct dimensions. We have refined our specialism in-house to such an extent that we can make your cylinder fit your piston. This ensures that the cylinder connects perfectly to the piston and you get the most out of your cylinder. This is also beneficial for the running properties and durability of the cylinder.

In addition to our location in Nuenen, North Brabant, PowerSeal also has a location in America. PowerSeal USA started 20 years ago with the idea to also provide customers on the other side of the world with the best service.

In addition to the fact that PowerSeal has been making cylinders for 35 years, we also started over 15 years ago with the overhaul of broken multi-cylinder motorcycles. Shortly after we perfected this process, we also started overhauling car engines

The repair process of car engines is slightly different from that of motorcycles. Many car blocks are made with an Alusil® layer, which we can replace with our PowerSeal coating®. However, this requires a number of adjustments from the engine builder in terms of pistons, rings and tolerances. For more information you can always contact us!

Given that PowerSeal wants to serve all its customers, we have specialized in a wide selection of motor sports; MotoCross, Enduro, Circuit, Kart, Speedway, Jetski, Snowmobiles, Oldtimers and Powerboat. We have also broadly oriented ourselves in the field of cars, from Porsche to Ferrari, from BMW to Mercedes and everything in between.

Advantages PowerSeal coating
®

PowerSeal’s coating offers many benefits including greater abrasion resistance and improved running properties. In addition, it is a perfect upgrade for Alusil® cylinders. The running characteristics improve and repair is almost always possible. Naturally, your cylinder repair at PowerSeal is cheaper than purchasing a new cylinder and, in the case of 2-stroke cylinders, the possible “tuning” is spared.
